Child Gods

Why do some people never cease giving?
One answer must be
Because they sometimes see "child gods."

 Here are some lines from Kasa-Jizo,
An old tale long, long time ago,
I heard from my mother,
O was it from my grandma?

 "You must be so cold."
The old man carefully 
Remove the snow from the
Head of the child gods,
Put the unsold shades on each head.

 "I have nothing to offer you, but these.
Please wait until New Year."
Praying to the child gods, the old man
Then go home through the snow...

 And I still wonder when I see them. ao
